The only images on this site which are owned by me are pictures with a prefix of PS. All other images have been kindly donated by a long list of contributors. The vast majority of the pictures have been displayed on the internet for a number of years and were ‘rescued’ by another website owner from an unofficial flytip.
I am offering a service for educational and sentimental purposes for people to obtain copies of these images at a low cost.
The price per picture pays for the materials, equipment, postage and packing and for the upkeep of the website.
I cannot verify the source of some of the pictures and I am offering them in good faith. If anybody recognises any images that they think may belong to them, I hope that they will continue to allow me to use it in this form for the benefit of all and as a historic record of the magnificent ships which have fought for and defended our country and our country's interests for the past 100 years.
If any visitor to the site would like information on a particular warship, whether displayed on this site or not, I will be happy to carry out free research on your behalf although I cannot guarantee success in each case.
