  BHAMCA004.JPG - HMS Amberley Castle. K 386/F 386. Castle Class Corvette. Launched Nov 1943. Served as Convoy Escort till end of war then to reserve at Portsmouth until 1952. Transferred to Reserve at Penarth 1953 to 1957 then converted to Weather Ship and re-named 'Weather Advisor'. Re-named 'Admiral Fitzroy 1976 and scrapped 1982.
