  BHMACA002.jpg - HMS Maiden Castle. K443.Castle Class Corvette. Converted to the Rescue ship Empire Lifeguard before completion in 1944. After some work in Atlantic convoys she operated as a troop transport for the army post war in Home waters as well as the Med. She was scrapped on 22nd July 1955 in Antwerp.
